Merchant Center Fix is a private review service for Shopify stores. It is operated by LSquare Assets, an entrepreneur individuel. This page explains what we collect on this website and when a client asks us to review a store.

Who is responsible

  • LSquare Assets, entrepreneur individuel.
  • 231 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France. This registered office is a domiciliation.
  • RCS Paris 947 499 646. SIRET 947 499 646 00018.
  • Contact: contact@merchant-center-fix.com.

LSquare Assets is the controller for the personal data described here.

The contact form

If you write to us from the site, we receive:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your Shopify store address;
  • the situation you select;
  • the message you type, often the email Google sent you;
  • the characters you type for the security check.

We use this to answer you and, if you go ahead, to prepare the review. The security check is there to block automated messages. We do not keep the characters after the check. A hidden field on the form is used only to discard spam. We do not use it as a contact detail.

The message is delivered by email to contact@merchant-center-fix.com through our email provider, Resend. We keep the exchange while we handle the request. If you become a client, we keep the records required for the work and for French accounting.

The checklist on this site

The free checklist stores your ticks in your browser only (local storage on your device). That list is not sent to us. You can clear it by clearing the site data for this domain in your browser.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. The host may keep technical logs, such as IP address, browser and the page requested, to run and protect the site. We do not use an advertising network, and we do not place an analytics cookie on this site.

When you ask us to review a store

The review uses a private Shopify application, shared with clients. It is not a public app listing. When you connect a store, we access the Shopify data needed to read the points on the checklist and, only if you accept a separate quote, to make the corrections we agreed:

  • products and product content;
  • pages, theme content and navigation;
  • legal policies and shop settings;
  • inventory, locations, markets and shipping.

If you also connect Google, we use:

  • the email address on that Google account;
  • Merchant Center product data;
  • Google Analytics, to compare that account with the store;
  • Search Console, read only.

We do not ask for Google Ads access. We use this access only to run the review you asked for, and the corrections you approved. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. We keep it for the engagement and for a short time afterwards so we can answer questions about the work, unless a longer retention is required for the invoice and the scope of what was done.

Who else sees the data

We share data only with the providers that run the service:

  • Vercel, to host the website;
  • Resend, to deliver the form email;
  • Shopify and Google, when you connect those accounts for a review.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your data, and you can object to a use based on our legitimate interest. Write to contact@merchant-center-fix.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.

Our interest in answering a request you sent us, and in performing a review you asked for, is the basis for the uses above. Where a contract is the basis, it is the review you agreed to.
