The app
Fix Google Merchant Center errors on Shopify
Built for client work, not for a public app listing.
Merchant Center Fix is a private Shopify app we use with clients. It reads the store and compares it with Merchant Center and Search Console. It is not listed on the public Shopify App Store, and it does not connect Google Ads or Google Analytics.
What it is allowed to see
On Shopify, the app can read and update the areas a review has to touch: products, content, themes, legal policies, navigation and shop settings, plus inventory, locations, markets and shipping. On Google, the access we use is Merchant Center content and a read-only Search Console scope, along with the sign-in needed to know which Google account is connected.
- It can name a price that disagrees with the product page.
- It can see a missing returns page, a broken policy link, or a feed id that opens the wrong URL.
- It does not buy traffic, manage campaigns, or appeal a Google Ads suspension.
What a review looks like
- Shopify is connected, then Merchant Center, then Search Console in read-only.
- The 144 points run against the live theme, the policies and the feed.
- You get the points that failed, and where to look: footer, policy page, product or setting.
- Editing the store is a separate quote. The app does not send the appeal by itself.
What you get from a review
From $499, the audit runs the 144 points and gives you every point that needs work. If you want us to make the changes on the store, that Done is quoted. Google still decides whether the account can run.
Questions people ask
Can I install this from the Shopify App Store?
No. It is a private app we connect during a client review. It is not a public listing.
Does the app fix Google Ads or Analytics?
No. The Google access is Merchant Center and read-only Search Console. Ads and Analytics stay pages and numbers that must match the store. We do not sign into them.
Does the app reinstate the account by itself?
No. It finds the mismatches. Google reviews the store after you request a review, and Google makes the decision.
